I'm a Montclair State University graduate and award-winning multimedia professional with 5+ years of experience in journalism, photography, and digital media. I'm proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and InDesign, as well as audio editing with Audacity. My experience spans live broadcast production, print journalism, and digital platforms.
Growing up, the news was always on in my home. Every morning followed the same rhythm: the hum of the television, an anchor delivering the day’s headlines, and all of us waiting on the forecast to figure out what to wear. I remember watching coverage of the Wall Street strikes at 10 years old and realizing, even then, that I was drawn to the people behind the information, the ones responsible for explaining the world as it was unfolding. That early curiosity developed into a lasting respect for journalism.
That same curiosity has shaped the way I approach opportunities throughout my career. During college, for example, I heard that no one wanted to take a photography internship covering Montclair State’s lacrosse team. I took the opportunity and built my experience from the ground up. That mindset has continued throughout my career: if I hear about an opportunity that can help me learn, create, or tell a story, I’m on it.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, playing basketball, reading, and spending time with my grandmother, father, mother, and sister.
